The conventional wisdom, albeit fallaciously libelous, is that the con-game of “419″ originates from Nigeria, and that Nigerians are big practitioners of the con-game. Well, that is not the case here. We are here talking of a Nigerian oil tycoon, who was a major Obama donor and being appointed to a major board by the President, being conned by a Congolese warlord of $10 million. But by the time the fraud was brought to an end, the oil tycoon had lost $30 million and ultimately losing another $32 million after a court ruling.
